Synthesis of Bisphenol P Using 3 Chloropropene

以３－氯丙烯和苯酚为主要原料，经醚化、Ｃｌａｉｓｅｎ重排反应合成邻烯丙基苯酚，然后与苯酚经Ｆｒｉｅｄｅｌ－Ｃｒａｆｔｓ烷基化反应得到双酚化合物的混合物，简称为双酚－Ｐ．经分离及红外光谱、核磁共振（Ｈ１－ＮＭＲ）谱等方法表征，证明双酚－Ｐ的主要成分为１，２－二（２－羟基苯基）丙烷和１－（２－羟基苯基）－２－（４－羟基苯基）丙烷．前者为白色晶体，熔点１１３～１１４℃，后者为浅黄色透明粘稠液体，在混合物中二者比例接近．

o Allyl phenol was first synthesized from etherification and Claisen rearrangement using 3 chloropropene and phenol as main raw material. A mixture of bisphenol compounds was obtained from Friedel Crafts alkylation of o allyl phenol and phenol. The bisphenol mixture, called bisphenol P, was separated and then charactered by IR and H 1 NMR. The results showed that it is mainly composed of 1,2 bis(2 hydroxyphenyl) propane and 1 (2 hydroxyphenyl) 2 (4 hydroxyphenyl) propane. The former is white crystalline solid with melting point 113￣114 ℃ and the latter is a kind of transparent viscous liquid with pale yellow colour. The proportion of both compounds is approximately equal in the mixture.
