选用Ｎ６材质作蒸发加热室的换热管代替碳钢管，Ｎ６～２０ｇ复合板代替碳钢管板，并对其结构进行了相应的改造，通过５年的生产应用证明：由于镍管具有良好的耐腐蚀性能，降铁效果显著，可大大提高液体烧碱质量，与碳钢管加热室相比，不仅每年可节约检修费用２７．１５１万元，还可以使检修工人从繁重的体力劳动中解脱出来。
