Effect of IKAP pattern nursing intervention on the improvement of self-care of aged patient with hypertension in community

目的:探讨IKAP模式护理干预对提高社区老年高血压患者自我保健的作用。方法:将272例社区老年高血压患者随机分为观察组和对照组各136例,观察组采用IKAP模式护理干预方法,对照组采用传统护理方法。观察两组患者高血压相关知识、信念、行为及自我保健知识掌握情况,血压控制效果,社会支持水平等,并进行效果评价。结果:观察组高血压相关知识、信念、行为改变,自我保健知识掌握情况及血压控制效果,社会支持水平与对照组比较均有极显著性差异(P<0.01)。结论:IKAP模式护理干预是提高社区老年高血压患者自我保健效果行之有效的方法。

Objective ： To explore the effect of IKAP pattern nursing intervention on the improvement of self - care of aged patient with hypertension in community. Methods： Two hundred and seventy two aged patients with hypertension in community were randomly divided into observation group （n = 136） and control group （ n = 136）. IKAP pattern nursing intervention was applied in observation group and conventional nursing care was taken in control group, and observation was made on patient＇s knowledge about hypertension, persuasion, behavior and self - care and effectiveness of control of blood pressure. Then the effectiveness of IKAP pattern nursing intervention was assessed. Results： The significant differences were found in the comparison of awareness of knowledge about hypertension, persuasion, change of behavior improvement of self - care and effectiveness of control of blood pressure （ P 〈0. 01）. Conclusion： IKAP pattern nursing intervention is one of effective methods to improve ability of self- care of aged patient with hypertension in community.
