适逢5年一次的换届，2008年山东”两会”格外受到关注。与人们的预期相应，民生问题仍然是会上最热点的话题。但有别于以往的是，人大代表和政协委员们汇聚而来的民声民意，越来越多地被吸纳到决策的过程之中，成为政府施政的有力依据。

In the later half of January 2008, as scheduled, the First Session of the Eleventh People＇s Congress and the First Session of the People Political Consultative Conference of Shandong Province were held at the same time. As people have anticipated, the issues concerning people＇s daily lives were the hot topics discussed on the sessions. Different from the past, more and more people＇ s voices and suggestions gathered by the deputies to the People＇ s Congress and member of the Political Consultative Conference have this time been absorbed in the decision-making process and have become the important foundations for the government to make its decisions.
