Exploration on the Pathogenesis of Averison to Cold from "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber

文章从分析《金匮要略》原文出发,提出恶寒的总病机为阳失温煦。可分虚实两类:实证为寒伤卫阳、疮毒壅塞、水气阻滞,卫阳被遏;或风性开泄、暑热升散,肌腠失密。虚证为表卫虚弱和阳气内虚,失于温煦。

From analysis the original text of 'Synopsis of the Golden Chamber', the authors put forward that pathogenesis of aversion to cold is deficiency of yang failing to warm. The aversion to cold could be divided into deficiency (Xw) and excess (Shi) types. The excess syndrome is that cold injuries Wei-yang resulting in Wei-yang oppressed,or that wind pathogen marked by upward and outgoing dispersion leads to the opening of sweat pores; while the deficiency syndrome is that insufficiency of Wei-qi and Yang-qi fails to warm.
