The "Sichuan Heroine" in German Literature

摘要 17世纪至20世纪,"四川女英雄"多次在德国文学中出现并带有浓厚的传奇色彩。四川之所以在德国文学中与"女英雄"如影随形,源于1654年欧洲出版的《鞑靼战纪》中对女将秦良玉的记述。正因为四川在历史上与抗暴斗争的紧密联系,20世纪德国著名剧作家布莱希特最终选中了四川作为其名剧《四川好人》的发生地点。 Between the seventeenth and twentieth century the ＂Sichuan Heroine＂ appeared many times in German literature and was provided with a strong legendary color. This article points out that the association of Sichuan with the ＂Heroine＂ in German literature can be traced back to the account of the female general, Qin Liangyu in De Bello Tartarico Historia （1654）. Just because of the close connection between Sichuan and the historical struggles against violent repression, Brecht, the well-known German playwright in the twentieth century, finally chose Sichuan as the setting for his famous play The Good Person of Sichuan.
