The Chinese Communist Party's Work towards Nationalities in the Eastern Part of Inner Mongolia in the Period of the Liberation War

解放战争初期,内蒙古东部地区形势十分复杂,党的正确政策和民族工作的开展为内蒙古各民族人民的解放和内蒙古自治区的成立准备了政治条件和社会基础。其历史经验仍然启示我们贯彻《少数民族区域自治法》,实现各民族平等、团结互助、共同发展。

In the early days of the Liberation War, the situation in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia was very complicated. The CCP＇sproper policies and the development of the work towards nationalities support the preparation of political condition and social base for the liberation of each nationlity in Inner Mongolia and the founding of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. From the historical experience we can still get a good deal of enlightenment of the implementation of the Law of Regional National Autonomy and the realization of eguality, unity, mutual aid and co-development.
