To improve the science and technology innovation in Henan universities, we must find out the resources distribution of universities. 31universities, such as Zhengzhou University and Henan University, have published 104, 922 science and technology lheses from 1994 to 2006. Zhengzhou University is the scientific and technological innovation academic center of Henan universities in which the medical education as well as industrial technology should he the leading subject and the district research center is Zhengzhou. The scientific and technological innovation capacity of Henan universities take the twentieth position in China. Optimizing the configuration of scientific and technological resources is an effective step to improve innovation capacity of Henan universities.
