摘要
基于少数民族学生英语词汇学习的特点,在认知学习理论指导下的少数民族学生英语词汇教学应该做到以下几点:帮助学生明确英语学习动机,培养学习兴趣;进行可理解性的词汇输入,刺激他们同化或顺化新知识;对学生进行英语词汇学习策略的培训;对少数民族院校教师进行民族政策、民族文化等相关内容的培训。
Basing on cognitive learning theory, the article analyses the characteristics of English vocabulary learning by Chinese college students from minority ethnic groups, and proposes suggestions for the teaching practice: enabling these students to be aware of their learning motivation and cultivating their interest in learning English vocabulary; inputting comprehensible vocabulary and stimulating English learners to assimilate new knowledge ; training them in English vocabulary learning strategies ; familiarizing English teachers in universities and colleges for ethnics with relevant contents in ethnic policies and ethnic cultures
