The packing equipment replacement decision is to determine the best packing equipment purchasing and replacing time under the factors that shall be considered in the course of decision-making. On the base of analyzing these factors and of suitably selecting the dynamic programming model, this paper introduces a complete decision making approach which will be a helpful guide for the decision making and which can be used in the packing equipment planning realistically
