Intelligent instruments have been more and more widely used in industrial automation. There is an increasing demand for design of intelligent instruments with higher performance with the requirements of automation. This article firstly introduces the concept and present situation of the intelligent instrument, analyzes its structure, and discusses its design process and the technology of the intelligent instrument.
