Erhu musical composition entered the prosperous period in the late 20^th century, which resulted from a large amount of creations by professionals and the development of multiple composing techniques, that is, the traditional mode, the modern mode, neutral mode and transplanting mode. These four styles have their distinctive connotations, artistic features and significance. The distinctive multiple modes not only enrich the creations of erhu musical composition, but also promote the overall development of erhu arts.
