On Disintegration and Historic Status of the Japanese Manorial Society

庄园制社会作为日本历史上的一种社会经济体系,存续了近八个世纪,对日本后来的历史发展产生了巨大的影响,可以说不了解庄园制社会就不可能了解日本的近现代社会。本文重点分析了日本庄园制社会解体的原因和庄园制社会的历史地位,并通过与欧洲封建制社会解体过程的比较探讨了庄园制社会解体后日本的历史走向,力图从庄园制社会的历史变迁中找寻日本历史发展的特征,为解读日本近现代历史文化提供镜鉴。

The manorial society, as a social economic system in Japanese history, existing for nearly eight centuries, has had a great effect on the later historic development of Japan. Its safe to say that one can＇t understand modern Japan without knowing it＇s manorial society. The thesis gives a special analysis on the cause of disintegration and social status of the manorial system of Japan, and through a comparison with the disintegration of feudal European society, makes a further study on the course of develop＂ ment of Japan after its disintegration of the manorial system, trying to find the feature of historic development of Japan and providing a basis on which a study can be better made into the modern history and culture of Japan.
