首先介绍了CADM的基本概念,包括CADM的含义、发展历史、数据来源及其重要的作用。重点分析了CADM四个基本的设计思想,这些设计思想有利于数据的重用和稳定,对我军的数据库工程建设具有重大的指导意义。同时也分析了CADM数据模型的设计缺点,限于篇幅,只是简单地提出了一些改进意见。

The paper introduces the basic concept of Core Architecture Data Model （CADM） firstly, including meanings, history, data source and important role of the CADM. The paper analyses the four basic ideas of CADM, which benefits the reuse and stabilization of data model, and contributes to the construction of database proiect of our army greatly. The paper also analyzes the disadvantages of the CADM data model, some further improvements are given as well.
