摘要
OMAP与其他平台最大的不同之处在于其非对称双核处理器结构,OMAP上GPP与DSP之间的通信成为关系系统整体表现的一个关键性问题。诺基亚日本研究中心的科学家开发得DSP Gateway正是为了解决这一难题。主要介绍了DSP Gateway的基本原理与实现,对示例程序进行了验证,证明DSP运行正常,GPP可以通过DSP Gateway对DSP进行控制。
The most important difference between OMAP and other platforms is the use of asymmetrical dual processors. The communication between GPP and DSP on OMAP is a key problem of the whole system performance. DSP gateway developed by the Japan's lab of NOKIA may solve this problem. This paper mainly introduces the basic principle of the DSP gateway and its implementation on OMAP5912. A successful demonstration shows that the DSP runs normally and the GPP can control DSP through the DSP Gateway.
