摘要本文通过对过刊和现刊使用成本的比较,分析了过刊使用成本高于现刊的主要原因,同时提出了通过科学界定过刊收藏的年限,订购国外过刊库、合作建立国内过刊库等举措,以解决长期以来一直困扰图书馆发展的空间不足,经费和人力资源紧张等问题。 The paper analyzes the main reasons that the use - cost of back numbers of periodicals is higher than current periodicals by comparing the use - cost of back numbers and current periodicals. Meanwhile, in order to solve the problems about insufficient developing space, shortage of cost and human resources and so on in libraries, the paper puts forward to some methods such as scientifically ascertaining the collective year of back numbers of periodicals, subscribing foreign back numbers databases and cooperatively installing database of national back numbers.
