On Olympic Games and Its Development in China

沿循现代奥林匹克运动发展的历史轨迹,分析了奥林匹克运动兴衰的成因;探讨了20世纪以来奥林匹克运动迎遇的危机和发展走向;阐明了奥林匹克运动与中国传统体育的差异与互补;揭示了奥林匹克运动与中国社会发展的互需关系;提出奥林匹克运动的社会学价值和中国传统体育的卫生学价值,将随着人类文明的进步和全球化时代的到来而得到更充分的彰显.

Based on the history and development of Olympics, the reasons for its rise and fall are analyzed; its crisis since the 20th century and its trend in the fufure are discussed;the differences and inter-complements between the Olympics and the traditional Chinese sport as well as the inter-relationship between the Olympic Games and Chinese social development are clarified. It is pointed out that with the development of human civilization and the coming of globalization, the sociological value of the Olympics and the hygienic value of traditional Chinese sport will be fully revealed.
