In January 2008, international copper .price went upward amid fluctuations. The 3-month LME copper futures moved in a range of US$6,700-7,410, and closed January at US$7,350, up US$470 month-on-month. The Shanghai copper market was a little bit stronger than the global market. The most active contract 0804 on the SHFE closed January at 61,130 yuan, up 4,130 yuan month-on-month.
