崩解型聚苯乙烯的合成及遇水崩解性

摘要 采用乳液聚合法合成了一系列不同单体组成的高吸水树脂,选取吸水树脂与苯乙烯、表面活性剂组成聚合体系,用过氧化苯甲酰引发进行原位共混聚合,制备遇水崩解型聚苯乙烯,并考察了吸水树脂的种类、吸水倍率对崩解材料崩解性的影响。结果表明,聚丙烯酸钠吸水树脂的吸水倍率越高,对应共混聚合材料的崩解性越好;与均聚丙烯酸钠吸水树脂相比,部分中和的聚丙烯酸和含有2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸的吸水树脂可明显改善共混材料的崩解性,说明吸水树脂颗粒与聚苯乙烯之间的界面性能以及吸水树脂的离子强度对材料的崩解性有重要影响。 A series of superabsorbent polymers with different monomer composition were prepared by emulsion polymerization. Styrene, surfactant and selected superabsorbent polymers were mixed and the in-situ blend polymerization of styrene was carried out when the initiator benzoperoxide was added. The effects of the variety, water-absorbency, and structure of the superabsorbent polymers on the properties of water-disintegrable polystyrene were investigated. Results obtained from the study show that the waterdisintegrable polystyrenes tend to disintegrate easily with the increasing of the water-absorbency of sodium polyacrylate. The water-disintegrable properties of the water-disintegrable polystyrene improved when superabsorbent polymers were partially acrylic neutralized or prepared by the 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid containing monomer. The interfacial bonding properties between polystyrene and superabsorbent polymers also play significant influences on the water-disintegrable properties of the products.
