摘要
大学英语教学的核心是词汇教学,长期以来大学英语词汇教学停留在老师填鸭式的教授和学生机械式记忆的模式上,随着英语教学面临的新形式和四、六级考试改革的新要求,大学英语词汇教学模式也必须有所改进,重点应该从语言知识的增加转到语言能力的提高上来,才能培养出21世纪既精通专业又懂外语的高素质复合型人才。
The core of college English teaching is vocabulary teaching, which has long been conducted with teachers' spoon-feeding method and students' mechanical memorization. Under the new situation that English teaching is facing and with the new requirements of CET-4 and CET-6 reforms, vocabulary teaching in college English must be improved. Only when teachers focus on the improvement of students' language competence instead of increase of language knowledge, can we produce versatile and quality talents who are good at both English and their specialty.
