In Nantong Coal Preparation Plant, by the statistic analysis of information of feed coal which purchased from outside, several indexes of Nantong coal quality and the differences of coal quality indexes between coal for power and clean coal for coking are analyzed. The indexes for evaluating the quality of feed coal for coking which purchased form outside are rightly determinated. These indexes are applied in producing practice.The quality of feed coal purchased form outside has an essential improvement.
