On the Parody of Angela Carter to Classical Fair Tales

英国作家安吉拉.卡特认为童话是男权社会教育、驯化儿童,尤其是麻木女性思想的工具之一。其作品揭露了男权话语霸权,成为上世纪英国开创利用经典童话批判男权思想的先驱之一。卡特成功地对经典童话进行了改写、戏拟和仿作,从而达到颠覆、消解男权话语霸权目的。她或是揭露童话的伪善欺骗性;或是把扭曲的女性还原到本来面目以张扬女性意识。

Angela Carter was one of the forerunners who thought fairy tales were the tools for taming children, espe- cially women in patriarchal society. Her works typically reflected the dominion of men＇ s will to power and initiated the criticism of male chauvinism through classic fairy tales. Carter succeeded in rewriting classic fairy tales to deconstruct and subvert men＇ s dominating power of discourse. She aimed at disclosing the deception of the fairy tales to women and trying to depict new images of females in the new age.
