学生事务管理是高等学校内部管理的重要组成部分,它涉及到高校对学生非学术性活动和课外活动的组织指导和管理。从文化的视角透视高校学生事务管理可以发现,高校学生事务管理就是高校运用一定的管理方法和手段把校园文化内化为学生个体文化从而促进学生全面发展的过程。它是通过学生事务管理者具体实施的,受学生事务管理者价值观的影响。而学生事务管理者价值观在本质上就是其文化的体现,这种文化又受到来自各方面的影响而表现为动态的发展过程,成为文化竞争力强的学生事务实践者是驾驭这种动态文化的需要,也是对学生事务管理者角色的重新定位。

Student affairs administration is an important part of inner management of universities and corteges, and it involves guidance and management of students＇ non-academic and extracurricular activities by the universities and colleges. From the perspectives of culture, student affairs administration is a cultural process in which universities and colleges try to turn the campus culture into the student culture for promoting the students＇ all-round development, which is carried out and influenced by student affairs administrator. The value of student affairs administrator is a kind of embodiment of culture in itself. This culture is a dynamic developing process influenced by other factors. Becoming the culturally competent student affairs practitioner is necessary to control this dynamic culture and reorientate the role of student affairs administrator.
