摘要
全球化意识的后现代语境中,消解了二元对立,使雕塑艺术走向公共性,同时也引发了艺术与艺术家个性的消失。基于后现代语境下的公共雕塑"它者"的出场,雕塑语言正在使个性化的语言被消解。同时宏大叙事的传统意义与传统雕塑语言似乎又难以转化为后现代语境下的雕塑公共语言。在公共雕塑语言与传统雕塑语言的矛盾中,公共雕塑语言的使个性化出场,使艺术家的个性化语言失效而失去话语立场。这构成了公共雕塑语言面临着两难境地,成为中国当代雕塑家艰难的选择。
In the context of the globalization consciousness in the postmodern era, the binary oppositions are abandoned and the sculptural art begins to seek commonality, which result in the disappearance of the individuality of the art and artists. With the appearance of of public sculpture, the distinctive language of sculpture are disappearing. On the other hand, it is very difficult for the traditional meaning of lengthy narration and the traditional language of sculpture to change into the public language of sculpture in the postmodern era. In the situation of the contradiction between the public language and traditional language of the sculpture, the public language of the sculpture makes the distinctive language of the sculpture and the artists lose the previous standing, which constitutes the predicament of the public language of the sculpture and the alternatives confronting the modem sculptors.
