对扬子云“难盖天八事”钱氏释义的几点补充

Additional Ideas about Qian Baocong's Explanations for Yang Xiong's Eight Refutations to the Cosmology of Gaitian

扬雄(子云)从浑天观点举出八事以难盖天,科学史家钱宝琮对此作有解释。本文先略述钱氏之解释,对其中某几点作一些补充。附论桓谭与扬雄关于盖天浑天的辩难,及另一巴蜀天文学家落下闳制"浑象"事。

Yang Xiong listed 8 impossibilities that the sky covers the earth like a pot lid, for which Qian Baocong, a scholar of history of science made his explanations. This paper will give a brief account of Qian＇ s explanation and then offer some additional ideas. As the same time, this paper also mentions about the debate between Huan Tan and Yang Xiong concerning whether the sky covers the earth like a pot lid or the earth is like a ball suspending in the universe. And finally, this paper gives a few words about the armillary sphere made by Luo Xiahong, an astronomer of the ancient Sichuan.
