Analysis of NBA draft from the perspective of neo-institutional economics

运用经济学方法分析NBA选秀的制度,得出以下结论:NBA选秀是选秀球队、选秀球员、选秀球员经纪人三方谋求自身利益最大化的过程;选秀球员和自己经纪人的有限理性限制了选秀球员自身的发展;NBA选秀球队和选秀球员经纪人的信息不对称对选秀球员的发展不利;NBA选秀球队、选秀球员以及选秀球员经纪人的机会主义倾向是为了谋取更大的利益。

The atlthors analyzed the NBA draft system by using economic methods, and drew the following conclusions： NBA draft is a process in which the drafting teams, drafted players and their brokers seek for the maximization of their own interests; the limited reason of the drafted players and their brokers has restricted the development of the drafted players themselves; incomplete information regarding the NBA drafting teams and drafted player brokers is not conducive to the development of the drafted players; the opportunistic tendency of the NBA drafting teams, drafted players and their brokers is to seek for greater interests.
