Lawrence in Struggle——An Analysis of Post-colonialism in The Plumbed Serpent

This paper focuses on one of Lawrence＇s works, The Plumbed Serpent and analyses Kate, the heroine＇s attitude toward the ancient Mexico religion, together with her uncertainty between leaving and staying. Through a thorough analysis, we can see Lawrence＇s conflict between going with and against his traditional colonialist education.
