关联视角下的翻译解读

Translation Studies from the Perspective of Relevance Theory

关联理论是一个有关语言交际的理论,其关注核心问题是交际与认知。作为新的语用学理论,它对言语的交际与认知能够作出有力的解释。关联理论与翻译学研究有着共同的研究对象,二者具有兼容性,因此它对翻译有着巨大的解释力。然而,关联理论无法解释所有的翻译活动,故关联视角下的翻译观必然有其自身的局限与不足。

Relevance theory is the theory concerned with language communication,which focuses on communication and cognition. As a new pragmatic theory,it has a forceful explanation on language communication and cognition. Relevance theory and translation study have the same research object and they are compatible. Relevance theory has a strong explanative force on translation. However,relevance theory can not explain all the translative activities, therefore there are naturally limitations about translation study from the perspective of relevance theory.
