摘要
随着多媒体技术和网络通讯的发展,图像的传输和存储对图像压缩技术提出了更高的要求。本文主要介绍了基于小波的图像压缩编码算法的研究和发展,使得图像数据库作为图像存储的一种形式得到了广泛的应用,同时对新的JPEG2000标准的核心算法进行了描述。
With the rapid development of multimedia technology and network communications,it is necessary to have better performance of image compression method for image transmission and storage,this paper mainly introduces the further researches and development of image compression based on wavelet,in the mean time,image database is widely used in many fields as a storage reform,and also the key arithmetic of JPEG2000 is introduced.
