《兄弟》出版后,引发了激烈的批评。本文认为,《兄弟》是以"内在于"时代的方式来表现这个时代的,由此而导致文学与时代之间的关系和距离的调整,以及文学观念的调整。这种调整会引起不适应的反应,也为重新思考文学的一些基本问题提供了契机。

After its publication, The Brother has led to a series of sharp criticism. It is opined in this paper that The Brother has portrayed this epoch by means of a unique approach ——＂one within the epoch＂, thus having resulted in the readjustment between literature and the epoch in terms of relationship and distance as well as the readjustment in literary concepts. While it may give rise to the reaction of inconformity, this type of readjustment will also provide a turning point for reconsidering some basic issues in literature.
