南山文体中心成立于1993年,地处南山区南头街道办辖区,是区级群众性的文化体育公共设施。南山区文体中心核心区（以下简称核心区）是文体中心的一部分,其改造工程是地区改造的重点组成项目之一。

1.1 Project Name International Design Competition for the Central Area of Nanshan Cultural ＆ Sport Center
1.2.Project Location Nanshan Cultural ＆ Sport Center is located in the center of Nanshan District, close to Nanshan Government and Lixiang Park, south of Shennan Road, north of Taoyuan Road, west of Nanshan Road and East of Nanxin Road, and covers an area of 19 hectares. The Central Area is a lot on the northeast of Nanshan Cultural ＆ Sport Center, close to Nanshan Library and Nanshan Art Museum on the south, surrounded by Nantou Street, Changxing Road, Nanshan Road and Honghua Road, and covers an area of 3.96 hectares.
