南山文体中心位于深圳市南山区的核心地带，周边城市功能复杂多样，集居住、科教、商业以及休闲绿地于一体。新的南山文体中心需要；
体现新时代深圳市区级群众文化体育活动的特殊风格与全新标准；
体现新的具有区域特点与标识性的公共建筑及公共空间；
体现为大众提供舒适尺度及参与性的空间；
体现公共文化建筑的开放性和积极的公共建筑形象；
Project Orientation
Nanshan Culture ＆ Sports Center is located in the core area of Nanshan District with multiple functions
including residence, science and education as well as recreation. The new center should：
demonstrate the special style and brand news standard of Shenzhen＇s public sports activities;
show public architecture and space with district features and distinction;
demonstrate the space for providing comfort and encouraging participation of the public;
show an open and positive public architecture image.
