中共十七大是在我国改革发展关键阶段召开的一次十分重要的会议,十七大报告是党领导全国人民开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面,夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利的政治宣言、行动纲领和精神动力。十七大对教育事业的发展提出了新要求新任务,对高校来说,学习和贯彻十七大精神,就是要紧密联系高校工作的实际,推动高等教育科学发展,办人民满意的大学。

The 17th Congress of CPC is a very important meeting held during a crucial moment of reform and development in our country. The bulletin of the 17th congress is a political proclamation, a creed for action, and a spiritual impetus for the Party to lead the people to initiate a new phase of socialist cause with Chinese characteristics to ensure new success in building a well--to--do society. New demand and task were put forward in the 17th congress for educational cause.
