Overseas Chinese＇ assistance to the cause of public welfare culture of Guangdong Province has a long history ,and promotes and effects the prosperity and development of Guangdong＇s librarianship. At present the geographical advantages of Guangdong Province facilitate the development of Guangdong＇s librarianship. In order to maintain sustainable development of Guangdong＇s librarianship, two points must be mentioned： the state of implementation of projects is prerequisite for overseas Chinese assistance and good environment and policy are the security.
