老病残罪犯是监狱罪犯中的一个特殊群体。由于生理、心理等方面的原因,他们成为心理疾病高发、安全隐患突出的群体。在构建和谐社会的今天,实践"老有所为、残有所学、健康服刑、踏实改造"的特色服刑理念,探索老病残罪犯改造的新途径,有着十分重要的现实意义。

The old, sick and disabled criminals are special ones in jail, for the physiology and psychology reasons, they are easy to be troubled by psychology illness or safety hidden dangers. In the time of harmonious social construction, it is of great necessity to practice the theory ＂ the old can do something, the disabled can learn something, to be educated healthily, and to be transformed steadfastly＂, explore new method of transformation of the old , sick and disabled criminals.
