从《太平寰宇记》中的江西部分看乐史撰著的成就与不足

文章着重分析《太平寰宇记》中的江西部分,认为州县沿革、户籍、土产记载,反映了宋初的实际情况;山川地名,以得名之由来作为条目的要素,其地名与地理地貌特征有关,与当地出现的禽鸟野兽有关,与历史人物、传说故事、古迹或旧建筑有关。所记述的内容可以补史籍之不足,纠方志之误,并以地理书录入人物与山川名胜题咏。以一人之力所撰此书的成就巨大,然也有缺陷:归属不当,新建置的州军县内容收入甚少,应划入内容仍置于以前所属州县;条目有重复现象;风俗部分大多雷同;有的地名、人名有误。

This essay emphasizes the analysis of Jiangxi part of Taiping Huanyuij, considering the county and prefecture reform, household register, and local speciality records reflecdng the actual conditions of the early Song Dynasty. The main factor of entry is the origins of names of different mountains and streams , which are related to geography characteristics, the local birds and wild beasts, historical figures, legends and ancient sites or construc- tions. The records can make up shortage for historical books and correct errors of the chorography. This geography book also involves choruses and poems for some recorded persons and famous mountain and stream spots. The a- chievements are great in that it was made by Leshi on his own , but there are defects in it, too. It is inappropriately categorized, and the newly-established counties and prefectures are limited to contents, which should be subordinate to those as before. There are repeated entries. Most customs look similar . Some names of places and persons are wrong.
