菲尔德设计事务所(FieldOperation)为纽约市清泉公园设计竞赛所作的获奖方案“生命景观”,开创了生态风景园的新形式以及废弃地再生的新范例。菲尔德设计团队创造性地提供了一条建立在自然进化和植物生命周期基础之上的长期策略,以期修复严重退化的土地,通过恢复湿地、森林、引入新栖息地、添置休闲娱乐项目,为野生动植物,也为文化社会生活提供了优质场所,其景观再造具有非凡意义和借鉴作用。
Lifescape, Field Operations’ winning proposal, envisioned Fresh Kills Parkland as a new form of public ecological landscape and a new paradigm for the reutilization of brownland. Given the natural evolution and plant life cycle, Field Operations originally proposed a long-term strategy to rehabilitate the severely degraded land. The Fresh Kills Parkland is expected to provide qualified sites for the wildlife and social life by means of restoring the existing wetlands and forests, introducing new habitats and adding amenities for leisure and entertainment. The landscape renovation for the Fresh Kills Landfills is of significance.
