The infrastructure, curricula, current status and trends of landscape architecture in Japanese universities and research institutes are introduced in brief. The teaching styles, course descriptions, schedules, etc. for green-space environmental degree studies at the Faculty of Horticulture, Chiba University are thoroughly reviewed. Moreover, design courses and samples are presented for demonstration.
