摘要
在数字通信和数据压缩技术中,量化器是重要的组成部分.量化误差的大小影响通信质量和数据的有效压缩.文中基于等概率输出量化与量化误差均方值最小的关系,给出概率密度为指数型和高斯型的常见信号的MSE量化器的一种简捷算法.
In digital communication and data compressing technology, quantizer is an important part. Based on the relationship between equal probability quantizing and mean square error quantizing, the paper gives a simple and direct algorithm for designing MSE quantizer of signals whose probability density functions are Gaussian distribution or exponential function such as Laplacian distribution.
