The experts in optical precision sensors from Sensoptic AG, Losone/Switzerland, developed a portable measuring system to monitor the surface quality of yarns in the rewinding process - a pioneer step in the online process control for the detection of lumps and neckdowns. The measuring system allows the screen printing specialist Sefar AG, Thai/Switzerland, to classify the surface quality of monofilaments accurately and efficiently.
