On the Supporting System for Sound and Rapid Development——Value,Institution,Technology,Industry,and Pattern

党的十七大提出了转变经济发展方式,促进国民经济又好又快发展的战略任务。"又好又快"是好与快的统一,是好字当头,好字优先,好中求快,内涵十分丰富。又好又快发展是中国生产力演进到工业化中期阶段以后必须选择的大战略,在实践中需要破旧立新,建立起支撑又好又快发展的新价值体系、新制度体系、新技术与产业体系、新生产与消费模式。

In the 17th National Congress of the CPC was brought forward the strategic mission of transforming the way of economic development and promoting the sound and rapid development of national economy. The term “sound and rapid” has enriched connotation. With “sound” preceding before “rapid”, it means the unification of quality and speed, seeking for rapid speed under the precondition of sound quality of development. Sound and rapid development is a great strategy we must choose after the productivity of China has evolved into the mid term of industrialization. In practice, we need to take essential measures, replace the old ideas and measures by new ones, and establish new value system, new institution system, new technological and industrial system, and new production and consumption patterns supporting the sound and rapid development.
