The solubilities of ternary system,Y(ClO 4) 3·3H 2O B15C5 C 2H 5OH,have been investigated at 25℃ by a semimicro method of phase equilibrium,the refractive indexes of saturated solutions have been determined.There are three coordination compounds formed in the system at 25℃.The compositions of the three coordination compounds are:4Y(ClO 4) 3·3B15C5·12H 2O·3.5C 2H 5OH(Ⅰ),Y(ClO 4) 3·B15C5·3H 2O·1.5C 2H 5OH(Ⅱ) and Y(ClO 4) 3·2B15C5·3H 2O·C 2H 5OH(Ⅲ).The behavior of water in this system in phase equilibrium has been examined.The solid coordination compounds have been prepared on basis of investigation of phase equilibrium.Three coordination compounds have been characterized by chemical analysis,IR,conductivity measurements and TG DTG.
