Many people believe that during Mandarin teaching activities, teachers should understand the students' mother tongue, or at least be able to carry out the conversation with students via a kind of media language understood by students. In my opinion, however, this is not a requirement for the classroom teaching of mandarin as a second language. Without using the media language but only using Mandarin as the LOGO, one can also gain good teaching results.
