摘要
结合美国翻译理论家乔治.斯坦纳的阐释学翻译理论,分析了杨宪益、戴乃迭所译鲁迅爱情小说《伤逝》在"作者个人词汇""话语语气价值",以及"原文语法风格"方面的翻译得失,认为在翻译活动中对于原文语言的多维理解有助于译文的形神兼备。
Taking Yang Hsien-yi and Gladys Yang＇s English version of Lu Xun＇s novel Regret for the Past as an example of successful translation, this paper seeks to analyze the techniques used by the translators and the gain and loss of the translation from the following three aspects： the author＇s individual diction, the tone-values of the original discourse as well as the grammatical style, with reference to George Steiner＇s hermeneutic discussion of the relationship between the understanding of language and translation.
