In the light of fly over Bridge over Road No. 1 in the North of Shenyang, the paper introduces the design principles and structure of suspension girder bridge with long span, discusses the methods for structure computation and the process of construction control, which have proved applicability of supension girder bridge with long span to municipal elevated engineering, providing reference for designers.
