比较文学中国学派的提出正显示了对话者本身的弱势地位。强势文化是不会与弱势文化进行对话的,它只会进行文化输出与殖民。而相反中国学者的这一主张正是在面对西方文化强势入侵的情况下的本能举动。其实中国比较文学发展的每一个关键时期都离不开与异质文化的相互交锋。当强势文化入侵或者被引入中国的时候,中国的比较文学都会做出相应的反应,这也体现出了中国文化进化的某种规律。

The idea for establishing Chinese School of comparative hterature snows weaK position of interlocutors. Majority culture does not carry on dialogue with minority culture and can only make cultural exportation and cultural colonization. However, that Chinese scholars put forward this idea is a reaction by instinct under the situation of irresistible cuhural invasion on China from west. Actually, every key period of Chinese comparative literature development does not avoid the competition with different cultures. When majority cultures invade or are brought to China, the comparative literature of China has responded accordingly, which embodies some law of China＇s cultural evolution.
