Objective The purpose of this article was to determine the efficacy of the early postoperative rehabilitation based on the modified Kleinert techniques for patients after primary flexor tendon repair in zone Ⅱ. Methods There were twenty patients (35 digits) from the Ninth People's Hospital of Shenzhen, who were given early postoperative rehabilitation based on the modified Kleinert techniques. Results All the patients were followed 4-9 months with an average of(6.54± 1.529) months, there were no tendon rupture patients and the results were evaluated with the TAM system, 2 digits get excellent, 28 digits get good and 5 digits get fair, the excellent or good result accounted for 85.71% of all the series, the mean grip strength of injuried hand was (13.66± 6.452)N, which was (55.62± 6.626)% of the uninjured hand. Conclusion The efficacy of the early postoperative rehabilitation based on the modified Kleinert techniques for patients after primary flexor tendon repair in zone Ⅱ is satisfactory.
