In the light of the key steps in daily generation scheduling, such as load forecasting, electric power and energy exchange in transmission lines,hydropower-thennal power dispatching and security checking, the relation between the daily generation scheduling and energy saving based scheduling is analyzed in detail. According to the expounding of correlation factors on implementing the energy saving based scheduling, the methods to implement the energy saving based scheduling in daily generation scheduling are proposed, which provide a useful reference for promoting the energy saving based scheduling.
