Resin composite sleeper is a new sleeper material, which has been used for the first time in our country. This paper illustrates on testing methods, quality control standard, laying, repatching, nailing and other construction techniques for resin composite sleeper. A comparative analysis has been carried out among the functions of resin composite sleeper, wood sleeper and concrete sleeper and shows the first one is a new sleeper material worth extending, from the perspectives of its performance, environmental protection and long-term economic profits.
