A Brief Discussion about Poetry on Poetic Creation by Li Bai & Du Fu

在我国文学理论、文学批语史上,以诗论诗这一形式为李白、杜甫所首创。李、杜的论诗诗虽然传世不多,但却不仅以其特殊的形式,也以其丰富深刻的内容所反映出的诸多独特的文学思想对后世产生着极大的影响。本文旨在探讨李、杜论诗诗中蕴涵着的文学观、文学批评观、创作观等,并比较其异同,进而追寻其形成异同的原因,以认识李、杜论诗诗的价值。

In the splendid ancient culture of traditional Chinese poetry, it is Li Bai （701 - 762） and Du Fu （712 - 770）who have first written poems on poetic creation. Such poems by these two great poets in Tang Dynasty have not been left so much, but they have a great influence on the later generations because of peculiar style and rich thoughts on literature. In this article, the author tries to probe into the special values of such poems by discussing about and making a comparison between the poets＇outlooks on literature, literary criticism and literature creation.
